Students taking the MOL 4473- Managing Careers and Talent Development class have spent this semester working on a comprehensive training course for supervisors of student employees. As their final, they will deliver this training course to supervisors in person on December 12th. This session will focus on one of the core training objectives they created and will introduce the Canvas resource page which will include material to help strengthen your skills as student employee supervisor.
This training was created using insights gathered from many of you, as well as input from our student employees, to ensure it addresses real needs and challenges. Below is a tentative outline for the session, which will be held in the Jardine Room:
Check-In/Coffee and Pastries: 8:00–8:15 am
Live Session: 8:15–9:30 am (includes group discussions and interactive activities)
Closing/Feedback: 9:30–9:45 am
This is a great professional training opportunity. Please plan on participating, not only to learn valuable skills but to support the hard work of this team of students.
