The Gerard Manley Hopkins Chair in English Literature will welcome Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon on Monday, April 24, at 7 p.m., in the Donahue Auditorium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology. Mr. Muldoon’s latest collection is Selected Poems: 1968-2014. He is the author of numerous books of poetry, including The Word on the Street; Maggot; Horse Latitudes; Moy Sand and Gravel.
Muldoon was awarded the 1994 T. S. Eliot Prize, the 1997 Irish Times Poetry Prize, the 2003 Griffin International Prize for Excellence in Poetry, the 2004 American Ireland Fund Literary Award, and the 2004 Shakespeare Prize. He is the current poetry editor of the New Yorker.
