Join us for a special Dinner and a Movie event – Ignatian Heritage Week style!
We will be showing the feature film “The Hundred-Foot Journey”, which focuses on the encounter between French and Indian cultures as well as their culinary heritages and traditions. A dinner that highlights these two traditions will immediately follow the end of the film. Over the meal, participants will engage in dialogue regarding key points from the movie.
DATE: Monday, January 29
LOCATION: Donahue Auditorium in the Dolan Science Center
TIME: The movie will begin at 6:00 pm, with dinner to follow immediately after.
To RSVP for the dinner, email Kyle O’Dell at kodell@jcu.edu by midnight on Tuesday, January 23. PLEASE NOTE that seating is limited and that in order for you to attend the dinner, you need to also attend the movie screening so that you are able to contribute meaningfully to the dinner conversation.
Hope to see you there!
