Join the Catholic Relief Services Student Ambassadors group in an educational outreach event with Theresa Flores, a human trafficking survivor, author, and founder of S.O.A.P. S.O.A.P. stands for “Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution” and is focused on increasing public awareness on the prevalence of human trafficking, with the goal of aiding trafficked survivors and preventing teens from being victimized by domestic, minor, sex trafficking.
Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, April 25th from 6-8pm in the Murphy Room. Light refreshments will be served. We will be learning about Theresa Flores’ story and her efforts as well as labeling bars of soap to donate to hotels in the Cleveland area to help reach out to victims of human trafficking. Please RSVP HERE by Sunday, April 22nd: https://johncarrolluniversity.wufoo.com/forms/q1epemc3096t6uo/
