This Friday, April 27, is the annual Day of Silence is the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network’s annual day of action to spread awareness about the effects of the bullying and harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning students. Students take a day-long vow of silence to symbolically represent the silencing of LGBTQ students. Sign Ups are taking place on Thursday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the atrium. There will be a Breaking the Silence party on the Day of Silence at 5 p.m. in the CSDI Lounge.
