Given that February is Valentine’s Day and Heart Awareness Month, the Health Awareness Project, JCU EMS, and the Honduras Medical Immersion have come together to put on an event for students to network, alumni to learn about the great healthcare related programs occurring at John Carroll University, and all attendees the opportunity to learn about cardiovascular themed topics. Students will get the benefit of being able to network with various JCU alumni and faculty. In prime internship hunting season, it is our hope that genuine and fruitful relationships will begin with these connections. This event will be held on Saturday, February 16, from 6-10 p.m. in the Dolan Science Center Atrium which will include a pasta dinner, silent and live auctions, speakers, and entertainment. Proceeds will benefit EMS scholarships and equipment, Honduras Medical Immersion supplies and medicines, and for the American Heart Association on behalf of the Health Awareness Project. We hope you can come!
