Many of us believe in equality, diversity, and inclusion. But how do we stand up for those values in our turbulent world? In her 2018 book, “The Person You Mean to Be: How Good People Fight Bias,” social psychologist Dolly Chugh reveals the surprising causes of inequality, grounded in the “psychology of good people.”
Chugh’s book is the faculty/staff book club selection for March/April for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division’s R.I.S.E. series. You can read more about the book and author here: https://www.harpercollins.com/9780062692146/the-person-you-mean-to-be/.
The book club will meet from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm on March 25, April 1 and April 8. Each participant who registers by the end of the day Monday, March 9 will receive a copy of the book.
