Come celebrate the start of the semester on Aug. 30 with our first Murphy Mass at 9:30pm in St. Francis Chapel. Offered every week, Murphy Mass is a long-standing tradition at John Carroll where students of all faith backgrounds come together to form community and pray during a candle-lit mass with live music and listen to a reflection given by one of the Resident Ministers. Immediately following this week’s Murphy Mass, we will have an ice cream reception and kick off outside St. Francis Chapel at St. Ignatius Plaza (rain plan location is the Interfaith Commons inside the atrium) with student leaders and Resident Ministers there to let you know more about the upcoming programing for the year – including immersions, retreats, Carroll Faith Communities, liturgies, and various justice initiatives. No need to RSVP, just show up! We hope to see you there!
