Looking for an ISJ Core course? Consider taking EN 2785, Introduction to Afrofuturism. This course blends Black culture, technology, Pan-African history, and science-fiction themes into one strong genre. You will study Afrofuturist film (“Black Panther”), literature (Octavia Butler), and music (Outkast, Erykah Badu) as you trace the movement’s emergence from the early 20th century to the present.
