Walk, Rock, Roll & Run

JCU will be participating in the upcoming Walk, Rock, Roll & Run hosted by the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. The Walk, Rock, Roll, and Run event will take place on Saturday, May 4th. Participants will have the option to participate in a 1 mile walk, 3 mile walk, or 5K run. There is no cost to register for the 1 mile or 3 mile walk. If you are interested in completing the 5K, the DEIB Office will pay the registration fees for the first 10 participants of the 5K. Check in for the event will open at 7:30am, with all events kicking off at 8:30am right in front of the Great Lakes Science Center.

All participants will be eligible for free admission to the Great Lakes Science Center and the USS Cod, as well as discounted admission to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. There will also be a variety of family fun activities and entertainment. This event is open to anyone who would like to attend, so feel free to bring along family and friends. The donations received from this event will go towards supporting over 190 diversity and inclusion centered workshops for over 2000 students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to become leaders and change agents in their schools.
