The HR Policy Committee revised our current Independent Contractor policy to align with recent Department of Labor guidance, ensuring compliance with updated criteria for classifying workers considering the totality of circumstances. The revisions to the policy and checklist reflect current legal standards to distinguish between employees and independent contractors.
