The Ignatian Way follows the steps St. Ignatius took during his conversion. Beginning in Loyola and ending in Barcelona, this 120-mile walking pilgrimage offers an opportunity to prayerfully contemplate Ignatian spirituality. This trip is organized by student leaders along with JCU faculty & staff who will provide pilgrims with spiritual and physical guidance throughout and beyond the 15-day journey.
What: Hiking the footsteps of St. Ignatius
Where: El Camino Ignaciano, northern Spain
When: Monday, May 19th – Monday, June 2nd
Why: Faith-based pilgrimage
Who: Anyone who is physically able
What to expect: Simple living, hiking long distances, staying in hostels, unplugged experience
Cost: $3,000 (food, travel, & lodging included for 2 weeks)
