Dr. Paul Muphy, Director of Catholic Studies, invites you to a lunch and talk with Stephen Schneck, the Chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. He will speak on the topic:
Freedom of Religion & Democracy: Lessons from India and Hungary for the United States”
Stephen Schneck was Professor of Political Science at the Catholic University of America, focusing on the area of political philosophy and Catholic Social Thought. He also founded the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies. He has served on the US Commision on International Religious Freedom since 2022 and as its Chair since earlier this year.
This event will be held Wednesday, October 30th from 12:00-1:00pm in the Dolan Science O’Connell Reading Room. Lunch will be provided. *Seating is limited!*
