Seeds of Hope, a big brothers big sisters organization for inner-city children, will be selling bracelets made by the members on Monday, March 31, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the LSC Atrium. The money will directly fund events put on by Seeds of Hope.

Rev. Rutilio Grande, S.J., was assassinated by the Salvadoran military in 1977 due to his work for the poor which challenged the power structures in El Salvador. His death transformed Archbishop Oscar Romero and encouraged the Archbishop to become a passionate voice for the oppressed and marginalized people in El Salvador, actions which subsequently lead to his own assassination three years later.
