Today: Take Back the Night planning meeting

Join us Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 5 p.m. in the Jardine room for a Take Back the Night planning meeting. We will begin planning for the annual Take Back the Night rally, march, and speak out, which allows people to share their own experience with sexual violence, or the feelings they have surrounding a loved ones experience.

On Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium of the Dolan Science Center, the Boler School of Business will hold the Sophomore Admission Meeting for the Boler School of Business. You must attend this meeting to be eligible to declare your major in business. If you are planning to graduate in 2015 or sooner, you need to apply to the Boler School of Business by Feb. 8, 2013.

Today: Human Trafficking Awareness

John Carroll will be hosting Melinda Sykes, director of children’s initiatives in the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and chair of the Ohio Human Trafficking Commission, on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jardine Room of the Lombardo Student Center. Sykes will be speaking to students and the community about the Attorney General office’s efforts to understand the extent of the human trafficking problem in Ohio.
