Every year John Carroll University, like other Jesuit schools throughout the country, celebrates the beginning of the academic year with a collective time of prayer. We begin our celebration with a Mass at the Church of the Gesu at 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, September 8. The Mass begins with a procession of red candles, carried by representatives of student, faculty, and staff organizations on campus.
