JCUPD and area police agencies will be conducting firearms simulator training in the LSC Conference Room and driving simulator training in the Belvoir lot near the RecPlex entrance on Wednesday, Aug. 6, and Thursday, Aug. 7. Uniformed police officers will be in and around the building, and there will be noise associated with the training. Don’t be alarmed, this is only a drill!

Attention JCU Employees: Change in Ohio Income Tax Withholding

Effective July 1, JCU employees will notice a slight change in their net pay beginning July 1 as a result of reduced Ohio income tax withholding rates. The new rates take into consideration the income tax reductions that went into effect when House Bill 483 was recently signed into law.

There will be a Staged Reading of Euripides’ play “Alcestis” at 8 p.m. on July 26 in Rodman A. Admission is free and all are welcome. Alcestis may be the first “modern” play because it mixes tragedy and comedy.
