Author David Giffels will give a reading of his work on Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in Rodman A in Rodman Hall. Giffels is one of the original scriptwriters for the television show “Beavis and Butthead.” He also is author of “All the Way Home,” a book about his extraordinary, single-handed renovation of an old rubber baron’s mansion in Akron, Ohio.

Today: Ladies locker room closed

The ladies locker room on the ground floor of the Recplex will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon on Thursday, March 7, for air duct cleaning. The men’s locker room in this same hallway will be having similar work done during the course of the same day, but it is not necessary to close the whole locker room down for this work.
