JCU’s Counseling Center continues to provide tele-therapy services as the 2021 Spring semester begins. This decision was made to prioritize the health and safety of the JCU community, and because research shows that tele-therapy services are equally as effective as in-person therapy services.

Year-End Tax Forms: W2 and 1095-C

W2’s will be mailed today for all employees (including student employees). You can expect to receive your W2 within the next few days.
Faculty/Staff: 1095-C’s will be mailed prior to the extended deadline of 3/2/21. Per the IRS, it is not necessary to wait for your 1095-C to file a tax return for 2020, nor does this form need to be attached to your return. You will use the information on this form to verify that you, your spouse, and any dependents had coverage for each month during the year.

Assist Low-Income Individuals with Preparing Their Tax Returns and Earn Class Credit!

The Center for Service and Social Action and the Boler College of Business Kramer School of Accountancy and Information Science Department are recruiting students to participate in the federal Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which helps low to moderate-income individuals and families prepare their income tax returns without professional fees. Service-learning courses are being offered for 0 and 1 credit options in Spring 2021 through the Department of Accountancy.
