Army ROTC Training Reminder

ROTC Cadets will be conducting special training this week with mock weapons, marked with orange barrels. Cadets will be in a variety of military uniforms. These morning training exercises will occur between 6:30-9 a.m.

Human Resources Policy Review

The Human Resources Policy Review Committee is charged with reviewing staff policies and proposing revisions. The following policy will be available for review and comment from Monday, April 17 through Tuesday, May 16:

Mail Center Route Service for Reading Day and Finals Week

Mail Center Route Service will be adjusted for Reading Day, Friday, May 5, and for Finals Week, May 8 – 12. There will be a Mail Delivery in the morning ONLY and package deliveries in the afternoon ONLY.

JCU FIT Healthy Cooking Class

The JCU FIT employee wellness program will be offering a Healthy Cooking Class to the first 75 employees who register. Aramark will demonstrate how to conveniently make healthy and delicious Lentil Sloppy Joes. Employees who attend this event will earn 10 points in the Wellness Portal. Participants will also be able to sample food and ask questions during this event.

JCU License Plate – Great Graduation Gift!

The Office of Alumni Relations invites you to purchase a JCU license plate.

The license plates are an excellent opportunity for John Carroll’s faculty, staff, students, family, and friends throughout Ohio to show their JCU pride. Also, $25 of the fees collected for each plate will be returned to the Carroll Fund.

Recipients of the Leadership Legacy Awards, the Outstanding Student Leader Awards, and other leadership-related accomplishments will be announced.

A Greater Cleveland Food Bank benefits outreach counselor will be on campus Wednesday, May 3, at the Administration Building near Einstein’s (from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m.) and the D.J. Lombardo Student Center Atrium during lunch (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.).

Today: JCU Men’s Lacrosse to Host OAC Tourney

Congratulations to the JCU Men’s Lacrosse Team for earning the 1st place finish in the regular season for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC). As the #1 seed, the team will host the #4 seed Otterbein Cardinals on Wednesday, May 3, at 7 p.m. in Don Shula Stadium.
