On Tuesday, April 11, from 10-11 a.m., HR will hold a training session on the JCU FIT Employee Wellness Portal for all full- and part-time faculty and staff. Location: Jardine Room. Trainer: Frankie Scarl, Certified Wellness Specialist, The MetroHealth System.
The JCU FIT Employee Wellness Program was launched in March. The JCU FIT Wellness Portal is an interactive tool that guides employees through specific programming and incentives to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. During this workshop, employees will be trained on how to effectively utilize the Wellness Portal. All who attend this training session will receive 10 points in the Wellness Portal.

Applications are still being accepted with a $25 late fee. The deadline to submit a fall (January 14, 2018) graduation application is Monday, July 10, 2017. Applications will be available after that date with a $25 late fee.

We will have Palm Sunday Mass in Saint Francis Chapel at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. this Sunday, April 9. We will again be distributing Eco-Palms, which are harvested in an ecologically sustainable way, and which give a fair return to the farmers involved in production.

The team will be playing in a tri-match against Cleveland State’s and University of Akron’s women’s club volleyball teams. A bake sale and t-shirt sale ($10 per shirt) will be held at the scrimmage to support the JCU team’s trip to the National Club Volleyball Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri.

The conference was held at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on April 1, 2017. There were over 350 participants from approximately 25 colleges or universities at the conference.
