Study Abroad in China

China 2015 Study Tour Meetings

Explore Beijing, the capital of modern China, during Spring Break 2015. The tour will include a hike along the Great Wall, a tour of the Forbidden City, a visit with local party officials, and a tour of a Chinese brewery. Two informational meetings will be held in B-272 (along the hallway connecting the top floor of O’Malley with the Administration Building) Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 11, at 12:30 p.m.

Due to a forecast of high temperatures throughout both the East Coast and our area, PJM and FirstEnergy are expecting the demand for electricity to be high today. In order to be good citizens as well as help reduce the likelihood of brownouts, John Carroll has been asked to reduce our power usage from 2-7 p.m. today.

The College of Arts and Sciences has been awarded a Career Ready Internship grant from Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation, designed to make academic internships available and accessible to juniors and seniors. Our focus this year is in the healthcare industry; opportunities are available in healthcare technology innovations; health information technology; health communications; professional healthcare preparation; and autism, child psychology, and education.
