Today: U.S. Senate in Flux: World’s Greatest Deliberative Body at a Crossroads

The JCU Political Science Department presents the 2014 Woelfl Seminar in Public Policy with Jeremy Paris, executive director of the Group Plan Commission, on Wednesday, April 2, from 5:30-7 p.m. in Donahue Auditorium. Mr. Paris will discuss the current situation in the Senate, particularly the judicial nominations process, the separation of powers, and threats to the constitutional balance presented by the recent political climate.

R.I.C.E. Kickoff Event

R.I.C.E. (Realizing your Love for Cultures of the East) is holding their first event of the semester this Saturday, April 5, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Muldoon Atrium of the Dolan Science Center. There will be free food, including authentic dishes and sushi. There will be activities such as calligraphy, origami, door raffles, a K-pop/J-pop dance group and more.
