Today: Earth Day celebration!

Come celebrate Earth Day with the Sustainability Committee, Recycling Committee, and Environmental Issues Group on Monday, April 22! This event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Dolan Atrium with light refreshments as well as eco-friendly giveaways, and then we will move into Dolan Auditorium at 7 p.m. for the viewing of “The 11th Hour,” a documentary by Leonardo DiCaprio on the environmental crisis.

Today: “The (Second) Coming: Messiahs, Jesus, and the Mahdi”

David L. Barr, Ph.D., professor of religion at Wright State University, is the 2012-2013 Tuohy Chair Fellow. Barr will deliver the fifth of his six lectures in the Tuohy Chair Lecture Series on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium. The topic of the lecture series is “Jerusalem, Jesus, and Jihad: End-Times Scenarios in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.” The lecture on April 16 will focus on “The (Second) Coming: Messiahs, Jesus, and the Mahdi.”
