Today: BSOB Spring Social for freshmen and sophomores

The Student Business Advisory Committee (SBAC) would like to invite all freshmen and sophomores to the Spring Social on Thursday, April 4, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in SB107. Students will have the opportunity to meet with upperclassmen, the Boler Ambassadors, and JCU professors and discuss any questions they have regarding what life in Boler is like or seek advice on classes to take for the upcoming semesters.

Today: Better Together Day on Thursday, April 4!

Join in a national effort to promote interfaith cooperation by wearing blue on Thursday, April 4. All students, staff, faculty, and administrators are invited to wear blue JCU attire as part of Better Together Day to raise awareness about the importance of interfaith cooperation. The first 200 people wearing JCU blue on Thursday that stop by the tables in the Student Center Atrium and outside of the Center for Service and Social Action (AD-32) between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. will receive a free prize!

David L. Barr, Ph.D., professor of religion at Wright State University, is the 2012-2013 Tuohy Chair Fellow. Barr will deliver the third of his six lectures in the Tuohy Chair Lecture Series on Tuesday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium. The topic of the lecture series is “Jerusalem, Jesus, and Jihad: End-Times Scenarios in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.” The lecture on April 2 will focus on “Did God Fail? A Role for Satan.”
