“Thanks but no thanks!” Donation Drive

Instead of holding on to all those unused or unwanted gifts from the holidays, help those in our JCU community who are in need! Donate new personal items (or in some cases clean, gently used items) such as: gloves, scarves, socks, hats, shoes, sweaters, toiletries, feminine products, and more. Just look for the “Thanks but no thanks!” bin in the atrium of the D.J. Lombardo Student Center. The bin will be available from Monday, January 14, through Friday, January 18.

International Tea House!

Special Lecture: An Evening with Samaria Rice-Mother of Tamir

Join the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion and the Office of Mission and Identity on Thursday, January 17, 2019, to hear Samaria Rice, mother of Tamir Rice, share how her Tamir Rice Foundation plans to provide arts, cultural, and educational programs for children ages 10-19 in Cleveland’s St. Clair neighborhood. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) in the LSC Conference Room, D.J. Lombardo Student Center.

Have you wanted to go on an Immersion but felt you couldn’t afford it?

The Immersion program can provide four-six scholarships to students who, due to financial concerns, have not applied for an Immersion experience or have been unable to go. This scholarship will cover the total cost of an immersion, provided the student can demonstrate high financial need.

Have you ever given a presentation to SOBB before? Now’s your chance to be on the other side of the table! SOBB board member applications are out now! The Student Organization Budget Board is a branch of the Student Union with both financial and administrative duties. SOBB allocates funds to student organizations requesting money for events, trips, and/or supplies and recognizes new groups as student organizations.

Budget Reporting Training for Staff & Faculty
