Today: How to Build a Model for Peace: MindLeaps – The Story of Dance

Join social entrepreneur, Rebecca Davis, founder of MindLeaps, an international NGO working in post-conflict countries, Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in Rodman A.

MindLeaps is based in the U..S. and works in post-conflict and developing countries, including Rwanda and Bosnia-Herzegovina, to permanently decrease the number of street children. MindLeaps runs a unique three-phase model that helps out-of-school youth transition from the street to formal education.

JCU FIT Welcomes Weight Watchers to Campus

Weight Watchers will be on campus for an Information Session to present how the “Beyond the Scale” 12-week program fits your everyday lifestyle. NOTE: The cost of the program is $156. The JCU FIT Wellness grant will cover $56 of this cost. In addition, if you are enrolled in the Medical Mutual Medical Plan and attend 11 out of the 12 sessions you will be reimbursed another $50 from Medical Mutual of Ohio.
