Join us for our annual Cleveland Neighborhood Project! As part of Living the Mission Day, we are looking for approximately 20 faculty and staff to join 150 members of the incoming Class of 2021 and 40 student leaders on Thursday, August 24, for a day of service at Fatima Family Center and Eliza Bryant Village in the Hough neighborhood.

With recent staff departures and several impending retirements on the horizon, the University’s Grounds crew will soon be losing 80% of its total staffing, and more than 62 years of collective campus experience. We are all very grateful for the Grounds staff’s dedicated and caring service and we will greatly miss their commitment, experience, and friendship. Given the sudden and significant level of loss in one department, the University recently formed a committee to study and evaluate potential replacement options.

Starting on Tuesday, August 1, parking lot paving repairs will be taking place in both the Dolan Science Center East and West lots. If at all possible please park in the Carroll Expansion Lot or Dolan East lot closer to the Library to avoid conflict with this work. Cones will be put in place over the weekend to help identify the areas where the paving work will be taking place.
