Support the Carroll Ballers Fundraiser at Edwins Restaraunt

The Carroll Ballers program invites you to join us May 1 at the Edwins Leadership Institute as we celebrate another year of relationship building and kinship at the Juvenile Detention Center.

We look forward to a night of food and drink, where we hope to share special stories and experiences from our time spent with the young men and women with whom we work. There will be a cash bar, hors d’ouevres and a raffle for a Cleveland sports-themed prize basket. Tickets are $50 per person.

Canvas Updates for Saturday, April 22

In this production release (April 22), users with permissions to manually add users to a course will see a display change to pending enrollments. Instructors using Canvas for the first time can use two new tutorial features to become familiar with Canvas and create a module-based course.

Hungry for Justice: 48-Hour Fast

In solidarity with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers’ national Wendy’s Boycott and Ohio State University’s Boot the Braids Campaign, JCU will participate in the current rolling student fast this Monday and Tuesday, calling on Wendy’s to commit to protecting farmworkers’ rights in the fields. Students will be occupying the Keller Commons from 9 a.m. on Monday, April 24 until 5 p.m. April 25.
