Today: JCU Cures

JCU Cures is a philanthropy event run by the Greek community at John Carroll University partnered with the St. Baldrick’s foundation. The St. Baldrick’s foundation is a non-profit organization that specifically focuses on childhood cancer research. We are trying to raise $15,000 to help children that have been fighting cancer. The event will be taking place on Thursday, October 20, from 3-7 p.m. in the LSC Atrium.

On Wednesday, October 19th, at 5 p.m. the Department of Theology and Religious Studies invites John Carroll students, faculty and staff to view the private screening of “The Destruction of Memory”. This documentary based on the book with the same name by Robert Bevan attempts to educate and raise awareness about the importance of protecting one’s cultural heritage.
