Of the more than 800 sailors that went into the water after the Japanese torpedoes struck, only 317 survived the five-day ordeal. World War II veteran and Indianapolis survivor Dick Thelen will recount his service experiences on Wednesday, November 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the LSC Conference Room.
