Philosophy: It’s not just for core anymore!
Come to the Otto van Neurath Philosophy & Political Science Conference Room (B-08) on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from noon-4 p.m. to learn more about majoring in philosophy.
Noon-12:30 p.m.: Enjoy pizza, pop, etc. and meet with faculty members
12:30 p.m.: Discussion with Dr. Ortega, Dr. Mooney and Steve DeZort (PL major) – Topic: Graduate School or Hemlock: Are these really the only choices for a Philosophy Major?
2 p.m.: Meet with Dr. Eng and Dr. Fitzpatrick about the Philosophy Honor Society: Phi Sigma Tau
*You don’t have to be a philosophy major or minor to attend the meeting or join!
2:45 p.m.: Meet with Dr. Taylor to discuss new Philosophy Major tracks, new philosophy courses, and to ask
questions about majoring or minoring in philosophy.
3:45 p.m.: raffle drawing
