Today: First Thursday lunch discussion on veteran students
The Vocation Coordinating Committee is pleased to invite you to our next First Thursday lunch discussion:
When: Thursday, Dec. 6, at noon
Where: Mackin Room of the Grasselli Library
Eric Patterson, director of veteran affairs and international services in the Office of Admission, and Krysta Kurzynski, graduate intern in the Center for Career Services, will be discussing the challenges faced by current student veterans in their transition to the academic environment and their vocational discernment. Information regarding the Post 9/11 GI Bill, the Yellow Ribbon Program, and John Carroll’s Celebration of Service Program will also be discussed to provide context for the veteran experience.
