Today: Accounting Association Special Guest Speaker: Gary S. Schieneman
Please join the Accounting Association on Monday, April 14, at 5 p.m. in the LSC Conference Room of the D.J. Lombardo Student Center as they host a presentation by special guest speaker Gary S. Schieneman. Mr. Schieneman has had an impressive career in accountancy and finance, as he has served as a director of comparative global equity analysis at Merrill Lynch & Co., and also has been a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board or FASB.
Mr. Schieneman will discuss the effects of accounting standards setting on different industries, professionalism in accountancy, on his career in accountancy, and will give advise to those individuals who have aspirations to embark on a similar career path.
