Temperatures across the region and eastern half of the country are expected to be in the high 80s through mid 90s this week.
Based on these forecasts, we expect that capacity peak events will be called for on Tuesday, September 1 through Thursday, September 3, with a slight chance for an event on Monday, August 31.
Due to this possibility, the University will reduce electricity loads between 4 and 6 p.m. on Monday and 3 and 6 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday of this week. The electricity load reduction will be very limited due to classes being is session.
