Temperatures across the region and eastern half of the country are expected to be in the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday through Friday of this week. Based on these forecasts, we have been notified that there is a moderate to high probability for Peak Capacity Events to occur on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Peak Capacity Energy Conservation Events, if required, Wednesday through Friday will occur between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. The electricity load reduction will be limited in buildings where classes and orientation events are scheduled.
For information on how these events will affect the campus and your work space, please refer to the Summer Energy Conservation website at:
Additional updates will be provided through Inside JCU on a regular basis as we move into the warmest part of the summer.
