Today, the world is witnessing a surge in refugees due to political conflict, civil wars, and climate change. Unsurprisingly, this surge is accompanied by renewed turns to populism and calls for strengthened borders. This forum on “The Ethics of Hospitality and the Question of the Refugee” asks about the ethical implications of this contemporary moment.
