On Thursday, April 5, the Panhellenic Council invites women all over campus to wear skirts and dresses to raise awareness of the 65 millions girls not in school worldwide. Come by the Student Center Atrium from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to get a pin to wear in support of worldwide women’s education. The Panhellenic Council is hosting this #NoPantsChallenge to help inform our campus about the Circle of Sisterhood organization that works to increase the number of women and girls educated around the world. Why are we doing this? We think that 2/3 of the world’s illiterate population being women is too high, and we hope to be part in lowering that statistic. Ditch your pants and be a part of the movement! For further information contact Erin Brown at EKbrown19@jcu.edu.
