The last 12 months have marked a year of change for JCU’s staff. Many new faces have joined the ranks of our colleagues, and many of us have new and different responsibilities. To honor our colleagues’ presence and hard work in this time of change, we are hosting a few gatherings this spring to give our colleagues an opportunity to celebrate each other in a safe, supportive environment of mutual listening.
Staff Council invites you to attend a Listening Session to share the successes, joys, challenges, and concerns you’re encountering in your current staff role at JCU.
These sessions will also help Staff Council assess the effectiveness of our efforts this year to celebrate the contributions of our staff colleagues, and will help direct our strategic priorities for the 2018-19 academic year.
Please consider joining us for one of the following:
Thursday, April 26, from noon-1 p.m. – supervisory staff members
*light lunch provided – R.S.V.P. by noon on Tuesday, April 24
Wednesday, May 16, from 2-3 p.m. – non-supervisory staff members
R.S.V.P. for a session so that we can be sure of having enough food available: http://sites.jcu.edu/staffcouncil/2018/04/04/rsvp-for-a-staff-listening-session-in-april-may/
All three sessions will take place in the Schell Conference Room (formerly the Campus Ministry Conference Room, up the ramp from the bookstore).
