Temperatures across the region and eastern half of the country are expected to be in the upper 80s and mid 90s on Tuesday and Thursday, July 3 and 5. Based on these forecasts, we have been notified that there is a high probably for a Peak Capacity Event to occur Tuesday and a moderate probability for an event on Thursday.
Peak Capacity Energy Conservation Events, if required, will likely occur between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. The electricity load reduction will be limited in buildings where classes and orientation events are scheduled.
For information on how these events will affect the campus and your work space, please refer to the Summer Energy Conservation website at:
Additional updates will be provided through Inside JCU on a regular basis as we move into the warmest part of the summer.
