Temperatures across the region and eastern half of the country are expected to be in the upper 80s and mid 90s on Monday and Tuesday, August 27 and 28. Based on these forecasts, we have been notified that there is a moderate to high probably for Peak Capacity Events to occur on these days this week.
Peak Capacity Energy Conservation Events, if required, will likely occur between 3 and 6 p.m. The electricity load reduction will be limited in buildings where classes and events are scheduled.
For information on how these events will affect the campus and your workspace, please refer to the Summer Energy Conservation website at:
Additional updates will be provided through Inside JCU announcements on a regular basis as we move through August and September.
