The Russert Department is hosting an event series dedicated to helping communication majors further develop their professional careers. This three-event series will include a Creating Conversation Workshop, a Panel Presentation and Networking Social, and a Follow-Up Workshop. The Creating Conversation Workshop allows students to practice engaging in a professional setting with assistance from Patrick Mullane and The Center for Career Services. The Panel Presentation and Networking Social allows students to hear inspirational stories and informative tips from business professionals, while having the opportunity to mingle with hiring professionals from the area. Students also have the ability to enter a raffle for a Young Professional’s Gift Basket when attending this event. The Follow-Up Workshop gives students the opportunity to receive guidance in the process of professionally thanking and keeping in touch with employers after a networking event.
