In Search of Future Writing Center Consultants!
There are still a number of spots available in spring semester’s EN 290 course–Tutoring Writing across Contexts–which means that students of all majors who are interested in Writing Center work can sign up. Do you have students in your courses who are strong writers and strong communicators? Please reach out to them, share your encouragement, and suggest that they contact Writing Center Director Maria Soriano Young (msoriano@jcu.edu) for more information.
Please note that even though this training course is listed as an English course, the material is relevant for students across all majors. I would love to have consultants from across the disciplines represented on my staff, but I need your help to do get there!
