The Center for Service and Social Action and the Boler College of Business Department of Accountancy are currently recruiting students, faculty, and staff to assist with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This programs helps low to moderate-income individuals prepare their income tax returns without professional fees. JCU students can receive one credit for participating.
A training will be held at JCU on Saturday, January 26, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and volunteers are asked to assist with two tax preparation Saturdays in the spring.
