In collaboration with the Boler College of Business, Muldoon Center for Entrepreneurship, the Marketing Team from the Management, Marketing & Supply Chain Department, and the Tim Russert Department of Communication and Theatre, John Carroll University is seeking female students to participate in a new innovation and service program beginning in January 2019.
Please register your interest at http://bit.ly/JCUdma.
The goal is to bring together John Carroll University students and local high school students from Saint Martin de Porres (SMDPHS) in a highly collaborative agency environment to learn, develop, and master digital marketing skills.
The focus will be on digital skill mastery and career mentorship through the lens of an innovative experiential learning model; to empower young women entrepreneurs to drive change and business growth within the Cleveland community.
WHEN: meetings every other week during Spring 2019 (roughly 3:30-5 p.m.)
WHERE: Sometimes meet at SMDPHS, sometimes meet at JCU
WHO: Students with a passion for marketing, social media, or digital communication, and entrepreneurship (understand the big picture of building and executing a digital marketing agency).
WHAT: The curriculum will provide the foundation skills upon which you grow essential digital marketing skills – both the tools and the strategies for using those tools. This experience will help you learn the skills necessary to build a career in digital marketing through real-world projects, software training opportunities, and mentorship from experts currently working in digital marketing positions.
We will bring in marketing professionals throughout the semester who will speak on relevant and trending digital marketing topics along with the opportunity for Q&A, networking, and career mentoring.
