Today: Hawk-Hughes World Food Programme Fellowship Applications Now Open!

The World Food Program Fellowship is a six-month, full-time commitment to the World Food Program. You will be living in Rome, Italy, which is the headquarters for the World Food Program from July through January. Those who are selected receive round-trip airfare at the beginning and end of the program, a housing stipend in Rome and a cash stipend of $1,500 per month.

The program is open to seniors or master’s students who have demonstrated excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills, demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills, demonstrated excellent computer skills and demonstrable knowledge about the World Food Programme and its mission.

The application deadline is March 6th, 2019. Submit the following application materials electronically to global@jcu.edu. Be sure the subject line reads “WFP Application.”
Letter of interest (one page), Resume, Two letters of recommendation, at least one them from a JCU professor, advisor, or supervisor, who can speak to your suitability for and capacity to undertake and succeed in the WFP fellowship.
