Drop-in session on the new university Diversity, Equity & Inclusion division
All members of the university community are invited to participate in a drop-in session on Thursday to learn about plans for the development of a division of diversity, equity and inclusion under the leadership of a new vice president.
This new division will bring together existing campus departments and efforts relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as establishing a new cross-divisional team of diversity liaisons who will work within each division to develop objectives, tactics and metrics to meet the goals of the Strategic Plan for Inclusive Excellence.
Any community member with an interest in (or questions about) the new division is encouraged to join us for coffee and conversation on the topic with Dr. Ed Peck, Vice President for University Mission & Identity, this Thursday, May 16 from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm in the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Conference Room.
