Become a Host Family for an Incoming International Student
The Center for Global Education needs host families to help welcome international students to our campus.
As a host family, the required time commitment is very little. New international students will arrive on August 20 and 21. We ask that host families make arrangements to meet the student and his or her family at some point before classes begin. We also ask that host families attend the Welcome Dinner for new students and families on Friday, August 23. After that, your level of commitment and engagement with your host student is whatever you and they are interested in.
Students often mention how much they enjoy our friendly campus community. Help show these new students the warmth of JCU and become a host family.
