October is Domestic Violence Awareness

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which takes place in October, the Violence Prevention and Action Center (VPAC) would like to invite faculty and staff to hang purple lights in your offices. The purple lights are in honor of those who have lost their lives to domestic violence, have survived domestic violence, or are still living with the abuse. If you are interested in joining in solidarity and displaying purple lights during the month of October, please contact VPAC for a set of lights that can be delivered to you.
