Library Updates

Faculty and staff colleagues, congrats, you’ve made it to the end of this roller coaster of a school year. Many of you have reached out to the library with your questions already, but just in case we wanted to send you some updates. First, if you need to return books to the library we are currently offering two options. The book return located on the outside of the library near the front doors is always open for returns – even if the library is closed. We set up additional return bins in the Student Center during the scheduled Res Hall move out period from 5/6-5/18. If you are on that side of campus, feel free to drop off your materials there as well. We renewed most items you have checked out until 9/4/2020. If you have questions about renewals, email the library at library@jcu.edu or contact your departmental liaison.

Beginning Monday, June 1, the library will be open for restricted usage. Faculty and staff will be allowed in the building from 8-5 M-F with your JCU ID (tap your card on the card reader outside the front door). We ask you to maintain appropriate social distancing and masks are to be worn in the building to protect everyone. Please keep in mind that we will have minimal staffing available during our summer hours.
